GENERAL PRINCIPLES OF GOVERNMENT

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Lord of all and that His infallible Word - the Bible - establishes the moral standards for all men and governments. We believe that no individual or government has the moral right to contradict His Word and to undermine Biblical values. We affirm the doctrine of the lesser magistrates—the right of every individual to resist any government’s attempt to coerce them or their neighbors into committing a violation of Biblical principles or commandments.

We believe that the United States of America is a Christian nation, founded as a constitutional republic and built upon the principles of classical liberalism. We support the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights within it, affirming that those God-given rights may never be infringed upon, restricted, or removed in any manner by any man or earthly government.

In the tradition of classical liberalism, we support limited government, individualism, and free market economics. We staunchly oppose collectivism in government and recognize it as a threat to free society.

We believe that the federal government ought to be limited to the enumerated powers explicitly granted to it within the Constitution and that the Constitution is appropriately interpreted only according to the principle of strict construction.

We believe that all governmental emergency powers must be strictly limited in both timeframe and scope.

LIFE & FAMILY

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ created all human life equal and in His image. In accordance with both Biblical revelation and scientific fact, we affirm the truth that human life begins at the moment of conception.

We believe that every individual, from the moment of his conception until his natural death, possesses a fundamental and inalienable right to life and deserves equal protection under the law at all stages of his life. Thus, we believe that the abortion of a conceived life is murder and ought to be illegal.

We support abstinence (outside of marriage), adoption, and private charity in the support of parents and their families.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ created only two genders, the male and female sexes. We recognize that a person of one gender cannot scientifically transition to another gender and that the gender of an individual’s birth is encoded in his very DNA.

We believe that the use of drugs, hormones, or surgeries in an attempt to change a person’s sex from their biological sex at birth should be illegal and viewed as medical malpractice.

We oppose the inclusion of males in female sports and facilities.

We believe that it is Christ alone Who possesses authority over the duration of life and that euthanasia (or assisted suicide) is thus an immoral act which should be illegal.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ instituted marriage and defined it as a union solely between one man and one woman. We believe that the government should only define and recognize marriage in accordance with this definition. We support the nuclear family.

We believe that marriage should exist until death except in the circumstances of adultery; and we recognize the harm that loose divorce policies have caused both to the institution of marriage itself and to families across the nation. Thus, we believe that divorce should be limited. We support separation without divorce when necessary in circumstances of domestic abuse, and we support the strict enforcement of laws against domestic violence.

EDUCATION

We support Bible-reading and prayer in public educational institutions; and we oppose policies which infringe on the religious freedom of the students and faculty within them.

We support the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance in public educational institutions.

We oppose the use of public education to advance social emotional learning and racially or sexually-focused agendas and curricula.

We support traditional education, and we oppose the Common Core curriculum in public schools.

We believe that sexual education should be a topic taught by parents to their children on the parents’ timetable; and we oppose sexual education curricula outside basic anatomical instruction in public schools.

We support private education in the form of private schools, charter schools, and homeschools.

We support tax breaks for those who choose to give their children private educations.

We believe that increased spending does not automatically correlate to improved educational quality.

HEALTHCARE

We believe that the healthcare industry should remain private, and we oppose nationalized medicine.

We believe that healthcare decisions are to be reserved to individuals themselves or, in the case of minors, to their parents. We oppose governmental mandates, regulations, and laws that forcibly impose medical treatments, injections, drugs, or procedures on any American citizen. We support adding a medical freedom amendment to the state and national constitutions to forbid such governmental overreach.

We believe that no individual should be denied life-saving medical treatment.

We believe recreational marijuana presents significant hazards to citizens and should again be outlawed within the state of Nevada.

We continue to support the legal prohibitions that exist in Nevada against dangerous and addictive drugs including cocaine and fentanyl.

We oppose the use of Daylight Savings Time within a portion of the year, acknowledging the practice’s detrimental effects to the public’s health; and we support returning the nation to year-round Standard Time.

NATURAL RESOURCES & PRIVATE PROPERTY

We support private property and water rights.

We support allowing tribal nations and colonies to reject the reservation system and to fully merge their lands under state and county jurisdictions.

We believe that the federal government is Constitutionally obligated to release all lands not needed to fulfill its enumerated responsibilities to American citizens through public sale. Such sales should be conducted carefully with the enactment of zoning restrictions and of limits to the maximum amount of acreage that each individual, private company, or other group may purchase.

We believe that only American citizens are entitled to purchase American lands and that land purchases by foreign nationals should be either banned outright or highly restricted.

We believe that America should strive for and achieve energy independence through the utilization of all of its natural resources including fossil fuels, nuclear energy, and renewable resources.

We believe that proper environmental stewardship is primarily the responsibility of individual American citizens, and we support voluntary conservation efforts in the private sector.

We oppose governmental attempts to damage the fossil fuel industry and to coerce the private sector into embracing electric energy.

We oppose environmental social governance policies.

We oppose climate engineering (geoengineering).

We support water desalination methods.

ECONOMY & INFRASTRUCTURE

We support capitalism and the free market economy.

We support the revitalization and proper maintenance of American infrastructure and the strengthening of our nation’s electric grid.

We support returning to the gold standard by backing the U.S. dollar with gold and silver. We oppose the Federal Reserve System.

We oppose minimum wage laws as they violate the principles of free market economics.

We support the efficient management of government through balanced budgets, deregulation, spending cuts, and the reduction of bureaucracies. We support the reduction and elimination of debt in all levels of government.

We recognize taxation as necessary to the administration of the government, and support limited taxation to achieve that purpose. However, we staunchly oppose undue taxation and reckless government spending.

We support the concept of the federal flat tax. We oppose the institution of a state income tax in Nevada.

We believe that, according to the Constitution, it is not the place of the federal government to provide welfare. Thus, we believe that such programs (including Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security which are responsible for the bulk of our national debt) should be thoughtfully phased out and that American citizens should again be made free to control their personal savings and to manage their healthcare free from inappropriate and unconstitutional government involvement.

We believe that, according to the Constitution, it is not the place of the federal government to pick winners and losers in the private sector through subsidies. We believe that the federal subsidization of private industry should also be phased out.

We believe that, according to the Constitution, it is not the place of the federal government to subsidize foreign nations. We believe that such spending should be phased out.

We support the use of tariffs to encourage fair international trade.

ELECTIONS

We believe that all elections in the United States of America should be secure, accurate, and transparent.

We believe that only U.S. citizens have the right to vote in American elections; and we oppose allowing non-citizens to vote in any federal, state, or local American elections.

We support the use of irreproducible paper ballots and hand-counting in all American elections.

We oppose the use of electronic election systems and machinery, acknowledging the existence of cybersecurity threats to the integrity of our elections.

We support regular maintenance of voter rolls.

We oppose automatic voter registration and same-day registration.

We support the single-day voting on Election Day.

We support the use of absentee ballots by eligible voters upon request but oppose the universal mail-in ballot system.

We support requiring every registered voter to present his legal photo-identification before voting in-person and to verify his identity when voting by absentee ballot.

We support the use of caucuses and closed primaries and oppose the open primary system.

We oppose the concept of non-partisan primaries, recognizing that they do not eliminate the partisan preferences and ideologies of the candidates that run in them and that they only serve to conceal candidates’ partisan preferences and ideologies from voters, making elections less transparent.

We support the use of plurality voting and oppose the system of ranked-choice voting.

We support the Electoral College institution which protects the voice of states with smaller populations such as Nevada, and we oppose the use of the national popular vote to decide the winners of any federal elections. Furthermore, we specifically oppose the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact, believing it to be in direct violation of Article I, Section 10, of the United States Constitution.

LAW ENFORCEMENT & PUBLIC ORDER

We believe that all Biblically and Constitutionally acceptable laws should be strictly enforced.

We oppose lowering penalties for crime and support reversing policies that have already been implemented to do so.

We support the death penalty for murder.

We support every citizen’s right to self-defense.

We support the Constitutional Carry policy and oppose weapons-free and gun-free zones in public spaces and buildings as an infringement on the citizens’ Second Amendment rights to keep and bear arms.

We oppose red-flag gun laws.

We support constitutional counties, constitutional county designations, and the rights of citizens and communities to refuse subjection to blatantly unconstitutional laws, regulations, or mandates.

We oppose the unconstitutional mass surveillance of American citizens without a warrant by law enforcement and by the government.

We support the legal, merit-based immigration of people into the United States who appreciate and desire to assimilate into American culture.

We believe our borders should be secured against the illegal entry of migrants, against human trafficking, and against the illegal importation of drugs.

We oppose sanctuary policies and designations.

We oppose birthright citizenship.

NATIONAL SECURITY & FOREIGN RELATIONS

We believe the United States is a sovereign nation and that its military exists exclusively to defend the nation against foreign threats to its citizens’ security.

We support the construction and maintenance of a strong, modernized military prepared and ready to meet any threat at any time. We believe in the concept of peace through strength.

We oppose the removal of the U.S. National Guard or of any National Guard units from state-level to federal control. (This is an action distinct from a legal federal activation of the National Guard by the President in a time of conflict.)

We believe that the United States of America should not engage in any conflicts, wars, or military operations except for the clear, direct, and immediate purpose of self-defense; and we believe that the President must comply with the Constitution by seeking and acquiring Congressional approval to engage in prolonged conflicts.

We believe that the United States government has an obligation to prioritize and to actively secure the safe retrieval of American citizens around the globe who have been wrongfully jailed or kidnapped. Furthermore, we believe it is imperative that the federal government act swiftly to hold other nations and groups accountable when they attack or kill American citizens.

We support non-interventionism, but we believe that the United States should comply with its Biblically and Constitutionally appropriate treaty obligations.

We believe that the United States should never enter into any treaties or agreements that compromise its national sovereignty or that seek to usurp the authority of the Constitution.

We believe that the United States should withdraw from and defund the United Nations.

We support and recognize the nation of Israel and its legal rights to the land it occupies. We support a one-state solution (Israel alone) and support the continued recognition of Israel’s capital in Jerusalem.
